Because it does not rely on wrappers around FFprobe, FFmpeg, or other metadata parsers, you can directly compare its results against your existing tools to strengthen the confidence of your findings. Its screen-capture and step-capture modules pull frames directly from the GPU, preserving true PTS timing rather than relying on rendered-desktop output. The suite also includes a high-performance downloader that uses cookie-based authentication to retrieve protected, private, or paywalled online video without exposing user credentials.

Where Omnivore sampled the desktop for pixel changes, E-Capture Kit communicates directly with the GPU - capturing frames at the exact moment they are presented, preserving true Presentation Time Stamp (PTS) values even when they differ from the file's metadata. Existing FilterGraph license holders receive E-Capture Kit at no additional cost.

Screen Capture
GPU-direct capture, not desktop sampling. Communicates directly with the GPU to detect each new video frame at the moment it is presented. Captures only the intended audio stream, no leading or trailing gaps, so duration matches the video precisely. PTS values are preserved and reflected accurately in A-DAPT's frame rate analysis.

Step Capture
Captures video one frame at a time, zero dropped frames regardless of player resource constraints or poorly written playback code. GPU-accelerated so your workstation stays usable during capture. Probes the player for its actual playback frame rate and can force resolution adjustments or corrections.

Direct-to-disk write for analog-to-digital workflows. When the hardware outputs a compressed stream, performs a true pass-through, no additional processing, no alteration.
