The A-DAPT program is my go-to. It has been able to do everything I have needed and more.
If it doesn’t the developer will do the utmost to assist so I am up and running again.
It is part of my everyday workflow and I use it almost exclusively for my day to day analysis.
They are always updating and getting more and more useful tools everyday. Being developed by an
analyst for analysts makes all the difference!
The program is user friendly for new analysts yet robust enough to handle the challenges of
experienced analysts. I absolutely love the Report Generation function, so much information
in one document, and the layout is amazing. I use it on every video file!

The A-DAPT program is an amazing tool to add to any forensic examiner’s toolbox.
It’s ability to quickly parse detailed and often hidden information related media
files and then present it in a manner that even a layperson can understand is extremely
valuable. The tools within it make it very easy to perform simple edits, blurs, tracking,
annotations, and more both quickly and efficiently without needing to have a bachelor's
degree in non-linear editors.
Video playback is quick and smooth regardless of the file size, resolution, or
whether you are scrubbing forward or backwards.
The best part of the program though is the customer service/support.
The Developer is always quick to squash a bug that might pop-up or to
help provide an efficient workflow to use within the program. Suggestions
for added features or assistance with problematic formats are always
addressed in a timely manner and never forgotten. It’s rare these
days to have a developer that directly supports their software in
the manner that this one does.
If I had the option to only purchase one program for the purposes of forensic authentication and/or video editing, it would be this one.

I’ve had the good fortune of beta/testing all of YottaGeek's forensic software and working
directly with its developer/owner on other software programs since 2006. Their software
programs are built around three core principles: high performance without unnecessary system
load, intuitive and easy-to-learn interface designs, and most importantly, the ability to
withstand the legal challenges associated with forensic examination processes and best practices.
The ADAPT examination software is a perfect example of those principles in action; high-performing,
dependable, and exceptionally well designed. Their E-Capture Suite has also brought together
everything needed for video/audio processing, video acquisitions from any source, and court-ready
exhibits that are supported by well-designed, self-generated reports.
In my own work, whether conducting examinations in high profile cases, presenting findings to
judicial clients, or teaching advanced analysis concepts the A-DAPT and the E-Capture Suite
make the processes easier and faster to perform, simpler to explain, and best of all; easier
for jurors, clients and students to understand.
For seasoned analysts, newcomers to video examinations, agencies building a new analysis
unit, or anyone looking to add an independent set of tools to their toolbox,
Yottageek deserves serious consideration.
I’m excited to see the image‑enhancement features they have planned.
Five Stars from me!

A-DAPT software is one of the essential tools in our forensic video workflow.
One of our common uses is to validate results from ffmpeg based analysis tools.
The software's file characteristics and variable frame rate reporting is detailed
and informative. Another powerful A-DAPT feature is the ability to display and
report RGB values for user defined regions of interest in a video. Tech support is
always responsive and helpful. The company is very responsive to user requests for
custom designed features. The bottom line is that this is powerful and affordable
software.

A-DAPT has become a core part of my workflow. Its parsing engine gives me a second,
independent source of truth when validating video metadata, which has been invaluable
in several cases. The transparency of the results makes it easy to explain
my findings in reports and in court.

A-DAPT has become my go-to forensic software—I use it every day, and it’s an essential
part of my workflow. As a department, we rely on it heavily for forensic video analysis,
creating court-ready exhibits, and decoding difficult or problematic video files that
other tools struggle with.
What really sets A-DAPT apart, though, is the support behind it. Any time we’ve needed
assistance, the team has been quickly responsive and knowledgeable . That level of
support makes a big difference when you’re working on time-sensitive cases.

A-DAPT truly is a software program made for every level of forensic video work from basic
examination to looking at what’s under the hood. While it is not the only tool in my toolbox,
it is an important one. When I receive new video in a case, A-DAPT is where I usually
start. The program doesn’t just look at the basic metadata. It looks at the information
contained in the file like frame rate (frame to frame), stream composition and percentage,
GOP composition, motion vectors, and timecode analysis. What is in the report is customizable.
When examining a file, multiple camera views can be synchronized and play together.
The audio and video can be scrubbed together with a waveform graph displaying the
audio track. This can be critical in shooting investigations if audio is present.
Subclips can be exported. Annotations can be made. And the best part, if something
new is needed, a request sent to the company usually means a new feature will be
introduced in a few days. Need a media downloader to document online media? It’s
right there in the software. It’s like having a Swiss Army knife in the form of
forensic software.
For those with old products from a former company on the East coast, new
features within Filtergraph are available covering those needs. It’s like
a phoenix for those old programs we relied upon for years.
Yottageek is an extremely responsive company to the needs of forensic
multimedia specialists. Having someone who actually worked in the field
for several years is a plus when understanding our needs. I highly
recommend the products produced by Yottageek.
